The Turkish get-up is a whole body, functional, comprehensive exercise. It promotes strength, balance, stability, and mobility. It is a fantastic injury prevention exercise, and because it can create improvements in mobility and stability it can help to improve almost every other exercise!
I incorporate this exercise into almost all of my programs with my clients. Either as a warm-up, active recovery, or exercise!
